Rimadesio: record turnover, new openings and sustainability

The company closed March 2023 with its highest turnover ever: 9.3 million euros. Sales volumes in the first half of the year also recorded the best performance in the company’s history, exceeding 42.6 million euros or 21% more than in the same period in 2022: an increase of 16% on the Italian market and 24% on the foreign market, thanks to the growth in Europe, Spain, France, the UK, the Netherlands and Switzerland and to increases in China, Korea and Mexico.

In this regard, for the past 15 years we have had a solar panel system and a lithium ion battery storage system installed at our Giussano headquarter, which allow us to cover more than 60% of our daily needs with self-produced clean energy. A saving for our company, but above all a concrete act in favour of the environment”.

Rimadesio closed 2022 with an unprecedented turnover of 74.2 mln euro or +11% compared to the record set in 2021 (66.9 mln).

EBIT amounted to EUR 8.2 mln and EBITDA to EUR 11.1 mln.

The turnover in Italy accounts for 35% of the total, an increase of +6% compared to 2021. The foreign turnover (65% of the total) is up +14% on 2021.

The permanent workforce increased by 4% during 2022, and during the first half of the year by 9% with a total of 280 resources employed between the Giussano headquarters and the three directly managed flagship stores in Milan, London and New York.
